Ross Wilkie is Avocet’s talented Process Engineer. After graduating from Sheffield University in Engineering he joined Jaguar Landrover for 3 1/2 years before taking the step up to join Avocet. Ross thrives on the challenges of this innovative and growing manufacturing business. No longer a small cog in a big machine Ross quickly adapted to the different environment of an SME and he now sees the impact of his decisions and innovations immediately.

Born in Glasgow his earliest memory is the New Years Eve fireworks display at Aviemore before he moved to England aged 2. Educated at Knutsford High School and with parents who are engineers he inherited their love of all things mechanical and as a child honed his skills on Lego and Connex.

Ross keeps himself fit and gets his fun he says from watching Manchester United but just in case hes also a big F1 fan. Reading Sci fi fantasy like Lord of the Rings or Game of Thrones relaxes his mind and guarantees that he’s fit for slaying the technical dragons that confront him in the working week.
