Martyn is ABM’s Research and Development Lead, where he spearheads his team’s pursuit of innovation and excellence in the field of battery tab technology. Martyn was born and brought up in Birmingham and studied chemistry at The University of Nottingham. An innate curiosity and love of chemistry propelled Martyn towards a Ph.D., where he delved into cutting-edge materials research, a defining aspect of Martyn’s career. In January 2022, Martyn embarked on a new chapter in his professional journey by joining the Avocet team. In his role, he not only leads the R&D efforts but also actively engages in all areas of the business. Martyn’s inherent determination and focus continue to drive his commitment to excellence in all aspects of his work.
