Rolled Clad Foil
Rolled Clad Foils is a product that is made up of layers of different materials bonded together by cladding. Each layer can vary in thickness, and are developed to produce different properties that otherwise could not be achieved by the individual materials on their own.
Clad products can also be used when customers require a specific coating thickness and electroplating is not an option. For example, a copper foil clad with silver or aluminium can be of benefit to customers developing new types of battery applications.
These products are custom produced to our customers specification, from surface finish to mechanical properties. Avocet Precision Metals are able to work with our customers to develop new products that are tailored to the application.
