Springs
Springs manufactured from strip or wire store energy when compressed, resulting in a release of energy when the force is removed. Springs can be manufactured from many different materials from stainless steel and nickel alloys to hardened and tempered carbon steels. Avocet Precision Metals supply precision strip and wire for the manufacture of springs.
In addition, our material can be found extensively in the automotive industry for suspension and clutch springs, manufactured from oil tempered silicon chrome round wires or profiles.
The UK spring industry has remained an important part of Avocet Precision Metals heritage, from our inception in 1996.
